We can’t forget that National Guard Spouses are also part of this sacrifice to support the mission of the military. As we have moved across the state for each duty assignment, it was important for me to stay connected to others just like me- a National Guard spouse learning to navigate both military and civilian worlds. 

Military children attend an average of six to nine different schools during their K-12 education, creating significant obstacles to consistent educational experiences. The educational disruptions that accompany these moves can have lasting impacts on children's academic progress and social-emotional development.

The core mission of MSAN has always been to educate, empower, and support spouses. Over the years, MSAN has developed many partnerships and programs for military spouses which has resulted in more leaders in the military community.

With years of caregiving experience, Paula shares her go-to resource and hopes to expand awareness to the entire community.
